Ickey Nickel in Leeds is hosting "Ickey Nickel Biker Nights" June 16th-18th.
"Trying to turn it back into what it was downtown to where we're hooked in with a charity," said the Owner of Ickey Nickel Bar and Grill, Jonathan Keselring. "This year we're going to be raising money for the Miracle Riders and then we'll have stunt shows, I think 5 or 6 bands that are playing so yeah just a huge event. "

For ten years, Pound 4 Pound M.C. has brought bikers from across the country to the Bluff City, boosting businesses in South Memphis.
Last year the group brought in roughly 5,000 bikers and sold out eight hotels in the area.
One member said this year the group expects to bring upwards of 10,000 bikes to the area and around 7,500 bikers.

D.C. police announced several street closures for this weekend's Rolling to Remember ride, as thousands of motorcycles will be in the nation's capital for the annual event to honor those killed in war and missing in action as well as to bring awareness to issues affecting veterans.
Organizers say participants will gather in a parking lot at RFK Stadium at 7 a.m. Sunday. The demonstration begins at noon, with motorcycles leaving RFK, then circling much of the National Mall before exiting the District via the 14th Street Bridge.
The event replaced the Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally that had been staged in Washington since 1988.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A cross-country motorcycle ride honoring military veterans, prisoners of war and soldiers missing in action is scheduled to roll through Topeka this coming Monday morning.
The ride, called "Run for the Wall XXXII," was to start Wednesday in Ontario, Calif., and is to conclude May 28 in Washington, D.C.
Hundreds of bikers are expected to take part in the event and ride, which will be conducted along one of four routes from the western part of the United States to Washington, D.C.
The central route will take bikers through Kansas on Interstate 70, with an overnight stopover planned Sunday in Junction City.

MACHESNEY PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — Motorcyclists from all over the stateline hit the road on Saturday to show support for local first responders.
The "Back the Blue" motorcycle rally covered 100 miles through Winnebago and Ogle Counties. Police escorted the riders on their journey, which took about five hours.
Over 180 motorcyclists took part in the ride.

'Rolling Thunder' Biker Rally Successor Coming to Washington Memorial Day Weekend Featuring Jon Stewart
The roar of thousands of motorcycles will return to Washington, D.C., over the Memorial Day weekend for a series of events honoring the nation's prisoners of war and missing-in-action, with comedian Jon Stewart and other advocates set to talk about the burn pits issue.
In a release, the AMVETS veterans service organization, which has taken up the mantle for the discontinued "Rolling Thunder" annual rides through the District, said the new "Rolling To Remember" rally will also call for action to prevent veteran suicides.
"The message will be clear throughout" the weekend, AMVETS said in the release. "We will never forget our POWs and MIAs, and we won't stop fighting for real solutions to the suicide crisis."
